1. Strictly necessary
These make the site work or remember a choice you made. They do not track you across other sites.

The calculators keep nothing. Apart from the opt-out choice (us_optout), your light or dark color choice (ps-theme, only if you pick one) and the one-time hand-off (tool-handoff, only when you press a link that carries your values to another calculator), the site’s own code keeps nothing in your browser. The weights, ages, dates and amounts you type are not saved in cookies or local storage, and are gone when you close or reload the page. If a calculator later offers to remember a setting on your device, that will be an option you switch on yourself, and it will be listed in the table above first.
2. Statistics
None. We don’t use Google Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics or any other analytics service. If we add one, this page will be updated first, and where the law requires it, statistics cookies will load only after you agree.
3. Advertising
The site is funded by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and advertising identifiers, set on Google’s own domains and sometimes on this site, to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure performance and prevent fraud. With your permission, or where the law allows it, they can also use them to personalize ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Google describes these cookies in How Google uses cookies and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
When you follow an affiliate link (for example an Amazon link marked “(paid link)”), the site you arrive on may set its own cookies to credit the referral. We do not set those cookies.
We do not set, read, change or delete cookies that belong to Google’s domains.
4. When advertising scripts load
No advertising script loads before the choice required for you has been recorded:
- Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland: ads load only after you choose in a Google-certified consent management platform that uses the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework. If you decline, no personalized ads are shown. Until such a platform is active on this site, no ads load for these visitors at all.
- Visitors in the United States and elsewhere: before ads load, the site reads your saved opt-out choice and any Global Privacy Control signal. If you have opted out, ads are requested in Google’s restricted data processing mode, which means non-personalized ads only.
- Pages without ads, such as Contact, Search and the legal pages, never load advertising scripts.
5. How to control cookies
- Opt out of sale or sharing on this browser: Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
- Personalized Google ads: Google Ads Settings.
- Other participating ad companies: www.aboutads.info and, in Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu.
- Your browser’s settings let you block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking strictly necessary storage means the site can’t remember your opt-out choice.
